Live music has always been a big part of the Festival, and this year is no different. We'll be staging fantastic live bands in the main auditorium on Thursday evening and throughout the day on Saturday - so if you're a gig-lover, make sure you plan your visits around these awesome acts!

George Croucher

Thursday 28th September 2023
5.30pm - 7.30pm

George Croucher is an up-and-coming singer songwriter from Bournemouth. He specialises in passionate vocal-guitar combinations, with a mixture of synth and acoustic beats in support. Smooth vocals, lyrical irony and guitars feature prominently in George's music, helping him build a reputation as one to watch, and a strong and growing following across the south of England. Late last year George released his debut album Notes About You, and he will be performing tracks from this alongside other original material and some carefully selected covers.

Cherry

With its members having entertained across the Hertfordshire music scene in various bands between them over the years, Cherry got together in 2021. Made up of accomplished singer Anna, guitarist Ky, drummer Jack and bassist Sean, their varied background and influences merge to compile a varied set of popular rock, pop, soul and funk covers with lots in between. Cherry have an impressively tight and effective way of getting you dancing, rocking and feeling all the feels - providing an exuberant backdrop to a great night.

No bands on Friday evening, but that doesn't mean the music stops - oh no! Instead, the entertainment is in your hands as you choose the tunes all night. Simply come to the stage, request your favourite song, and get dancing as we play it in the main hall for you.

SHELC

Saturday 30th September 2023
12.15pm - 2.15pm

Fresh back from playing the legendary Isle of Wight Festival, SHELC are a hard-rocking covers band, who promise to get our Saturday music line-up off to a loud and high-energy start. Fronted by guitarist and vocalist Stevie Hollman, he leads a group of very experienced musicians who perform covers ranging from '60s and '70s classics to recent hits, all to the highest quality and with feeling. Start your day as you mean to go on, grab a beer, and check them out!

Sweetcornbread

Formed in 2008 and building a dedicated following ever since, Sweetcornbread are a five-piece band featuring guitars, mandolin, banjo, bass, drums/percussion, accordion, and lots of harmonising vocals. Sweetcornbread's unique sound encompasses elements of blues, roots, reggae, bluegrass, funk, country rock and punk folk - their ever-growing fusion of genres held together by their distinctive approach. Guaranteed to get you moving, Sweetcornbread are back by popular demand after absolutely storming last year's Festival - you don't want to miss this!

Folding Stars

Aural heaven since 2011, Folding Stars have spent the past 12 years entertaining at venues across Hertfordshire and beyond. Featuring frontman Joe on guitar and lead vocals, backed by bassist Mike and drummer Troy, they're an energetic covers band showcasing the best of popular British rock from the '60s to the present day. Superbly talented and dedicated to what they do, this trio are sure to give your ears a treat.
